__/ GREAT PERFORMANCES - ROADS
Fred Vanhala reports: "With a tremendous team effort - the Front Line
Racing Team placed third out of over 200 teams in the Open
competition of the Chicago Marathon.
Those were two incredible teams that beat us.
Whirlaway Racing Team always gives us problems in the Boston
Marathon. They placed first with an amazing score of only 0.43%!!
I'm not familiar with the 2nd Place Team. They were the Dick Pond
Neverland Runners. They also had a super score, just 0.54%.
Our team had an incredible effort to place 3rd with a score of 0.77%.
Awards from Tiffany's go to the top three teams (and all five runners
on the team). They were very cool last year; I expect them to be
similar this year. Congratulations to the incredible team of Kris
Warszawski, Marybeth Reader, Gerard Malacynski, Bryan Alfonso, and
Andy Hass!
We'll be hard pressed to have a stronger team in the future than this
year's team - but we'll be back to wrestle the title away from Whirlaway
and the Pond people next year.
__/ GREAT PERFORMANCES - CROSS COUNTRY
