The 21st annual Detroit Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, sponsored by Fifth Third Bank and The Parade Company, attracted more than 5000 runners for the 10K Run and Mashed Potato Mile.

Governor Jennifer Granholm (bib no. 1), who says running is the best way to stay fit and healthy, finished the mile in nine minutes.
