__/ CORRECTION OF LAST WEEK'S GREAT PERFORMANCES - MHSAA LP XC FINALS - Both Jill Evers and Jeff Hollobaugh wrote to correct last week's note that Dexter (28) and Pinckney (27) set new state records for low scores. __/ MRN ON THE ROAD, ROSEVILLE - Runners at the 28th annual Big Bird Run were celebrating the perfect weather and folks from Roseville were celebrating election results. Roseville voters agreed to the millage to continue essential city services, including fire fighters, the library and parks and recreation. Since the Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Big Bird Run, we're glad the millage passed, too. We'll have video of the 10K, 4K and 1 Mile next week.

We couldn't help but notice that Kevin Hanson and Don Jackson were wearing shoes with the red, yellow & black Hanson colors. Sure enough, Brooks is using the olor scheme for their T4 racer as a tribute to the Hanson-Brooks Original Development Project.

__/ GREAT PERFORMANCES - Randy McGill, race director of the Falcon 5K, alerted us to a new course record for the 14th annual race in August. Erin Webster's 16:11 broke the previous course record set in 1998 by Allison Noe by 1:11. Erin was also third overall in the race.
