__/ TREEETOPS AMAZING RACE - Last weekend, Treetops resort
staged its third version of the Amazing Race. This year 12 teams of 4
skiers and boarders participated over two days in a series of contests,
battles of wits, singing, and games. Speed was an issue down the
slopes, finding a video, making pizza and getting from one venue to the
next. Lots of running was involved-- sometimes on ski boots, and
sometimes smaller team members got piggy-back rides. The whole
thing was an absolute blast and we'll have a Michigan Skier TV show
available next week. Treetops is considering a summer version of the
event and we think runners could not only have a lot of fun, but could
also have a good chance to win terrific prizes.

what they're doing, while the RW editors stay focused on Runner's
World."
