__/ KEWEENAW TRAIL RUNNING FESTIVAL IS A TEST AND A
DELIGHT, JULY 12-13
It's time to head up to the Upper Peninsula for the Keweenaw Trail
Running Festival, a test and a delight according to Tom Henderson.
Remember, says Tom, "The Trail Festival is a journey, not a destination.
"The festival. . . is Jeff Crumbaugh's brainchild: a two-day, three race
test that he says combines courses that, in turn, demand speed, strength
and endurance," continues Tom in the September/October 2002
Michigan Runner.
Come for the 10K over forest trails in McLain State Park Saturday
morning, Saturday night's 5.8K hill climb from the sandy beach at Egle
Harbor to the top of Mt. Lookout, or for Sunday morning's 25K through
Swedetown Creek Gorge. http://keweenawtrails.com.
