-- Frankenmuth - The Frankenmuth Jaycees celebrated the 30th
Volkslaufethis 4th of July with beautiful weather and 30th anniversary
finishing medals for all in the 5,10 & 20K races. Kevin Hanson, as
always, is among the regulars, as is his Stevenson, Sterling Heights
cross country team.
Kevin said there'll be a big contingent of Hansons, Verrans, Sells, and
Briney's in Helsinki to cheer on the three Hanson-Brooks athletes in
the World Marathon championships. Clint Verran, Brian Sell and Trent
Briney are all on the US team competing in the marathon on August 13
in Helsinki. We also congratulate Mark Bauman for completing his 30th
Volkslaufe, too.
