__/ SEND THE CRIM YOUR STORIES
FLINT--The post race stories are passionate, inspirational, hilarious,
and emotional. Too often, Sherlynn Everly says, they are also lost after t
he telling.
Everly, Crim Festival of Races executive director, and her staff intend
to capture those stories in book being edited by Anthony R. Ellis, M.D.
The staff is seeking stories that answer such questions as: What
inspired you to run the Crim? What did you have to overcome to finish th
e Crim? Why do you come back each year? If you aren't a runner, why a
re you involved in the Crim? What's your favorite anecdote or funniest C
rim memory?
Everly says about 50 stories, ranging from 300 to 1,500 words, will be
chosen for inclusion. Contributors whose stories are selected will receiv
e a free copy of the book. Profits will support the CRIM and its charities.
Submissions should be mailed to:
Crim Stories, Anthony R. Ellis, M.D.,
P. O. Box 320401, Flint Township, Michigan,
48532.
Stories may also be submitted electronically to TheTaoRunner@yahoo.
